Responsibilities
Plan organize, control and direct the fiscal procedures and functions of the SELPA and prepare and present fiscal reports to the SELPA Superintendents' Council
Act in an advisory capacity to districts in Special Education funding
Organize and conduct meetings with district administrators relative to SELPA fiscal matters
Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Five years increasingly responsible accounting experience in a school district or county school office
Possession of a valid driver's license, or evidence of equivalent mobility, to be maintained throughout employment
Copy of transcripts showing proof of Degree (Can be unofficial at the time of application)
Preferred
Experience in Special Education finance in a California educational agency is highly desirable
