Actuarial Intern (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities

Assist with valuation model investigations and enhancements, gaining expertise in AXIS modelling tools
Contribute to experience studies and annual updates of assumptions by analyzing relevant data and identifying key trends
Support IFRS 17 and Swiss Statutory reserving and financial reporting, gaining valuable exposure to industry standards
Contribute to automation initiatives and process improvements, using technology to increase the team's operational efficiency
Work on other diverse projects and provide support to team members as needed

Required

Available to work for Fall 2026 for 4 to 8 months
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Demonstrated progress in actuarial exams
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams

Preferred

Experience with database applications and SQL, programming languages such as R and Python, Power BI, or AXIS modeling would be an asset
Previous internship experience in insurance, finance, or related fields
