ServiceNow Developer / Administrator

Responsibilities

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and work with senior developers to resolve complex issues
Perform day-to-day administration of service requests on the ServiceNow platform
Maintain CMDB and discovery accuracy through updates, reporting, and routine data quality reviews
Configure and develop basic to intermediate-level functionality using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer
Assist in building simple integrations using Integration Hub or scripted REST APIs under the guidance of senior developers
Create and maintain clear technical documentation for configurations, updates, and small development tasks
Stay informed on ServiceNow platform updates and features
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative tasks and improve platform usability
Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in ServiceNow to recommend and implement innovative system improvements

Qualification

Required

3–5+ years of experience supporting or developing on the ServiceNow platform
Working knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting fundamentals
Hands-on experience with core platform components such as: Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Service Catalog and basic workflows/Flow Designer, CMDB fundamentals
Ability to troubleshoot issues logically and work collaboratively to solve problems
Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
Additional ServiceNow certifications or micro-certifications (Flow Designer, Service Catalog, etc.)
Familiarity with REST APIs and basic integration concepts
Understanding of ITIL concepts
Some experience with Performance Analytics, reporting, or Dashboard creation
