The Senior AI Engineer will own client engagements, lead technical teams, and build evaluation platforms while ensuring compliance with AI governance standards.

Responsibilities
Own and deliver client engagements end to end, from technical scoping through to final artefacts and handover
Lead engagements across the spectrum: AI controls design, AI implementation, adversarial red teaming, evaluation, etc
Run client pilots and workshops, working alongside the commercial lead on senior stakeholder relationships
Translate client needs into concrete engineering solutions for each client's stack and regulator
Define and lead system architecture: back-end, APIs, and lightweight front-end
Build scalable AI assurance platforms integrating open-source testing and evaluation frameworks
Deliver portable, production-ready solutions across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Design evaluation frameworks for foundation models and AI agents
Build, evaluate, and stress-test models for fairness, robustness, explainability, and governance
Develop benchmarking pipelines, automated evaluation systems, and continuous monitoring infrastructure
Produce audit-ready artefacts, dashboards, and reports for regulators, clients, and standards bodies
Evaluate third-party AI tools, models, and platforms for client and internal use
Establish repeatable evaluation methodologies that scale across engagements
Qualification
Required
Proven track record building, training, and evaluating AI/ML models (industry, research, or advanced academic work)
Strong Python and familiarity with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including deployment and scaling of AI systems
Hands-on experience with explainability and fairness tools (SHAP, LIME, AIF360, ART)
Comfortable owning client-facing delivery, not only back-end build
Working familiarity with AI governance and assurance standards (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
Ownership mindset and the ambition to grow into a principal or technical leadership position
Preferred
Experience with AI testing, assurance, or evaluation tooling strongly preferred
