The role involves leading the development of enterprise analytics focused on manufacturing costing and margin performance, while partnering with various departments to translate business problems into data solutions.

Responsibilities
Design and build manufacturing costing and margin analytics
Develop executive and operational reporting in Power BI that people actually use
Engineer scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric / Synapse, SQL, and Delta Lake
Build and maintain ETL pipelines across ERP and enterprise systems
Apply Python / PySpark to automate, scale, and optimize data workflows
Establish governed, repeatable data models aligned with financial controls
Partner directly with Finance, Cost Accounting, Operations, and Leadership to translate business problems into data solutions
Qualification
Required
8+ years in analytics, data engineering, or BI development
Proven experience with manufacturing cost or financial analytics
Advanced skills in: Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance tuning)
Advanced skills in: SQL (complex querying, optimization)
Advanced skills in: ETL design and development
Advanced skills in: Microsoft Fabric / Synapse
Advanced skills in: Python / PySpark
Strong understanding of data governance, controls, and scalable design
Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate ambiguity into structure
