They are seeking a Scientist in Color Development to develop color formulations for food and beverage applications, collaborate with teams, and execute stability protocols.

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing color formulations suitable for food & beverage applications (pet food application a plus)
Collaboration and cooperation with other employees, including other color scientists and product developers
Partner with Operations and QC to successfully scaleup newly created solutions
Executing stability protocol on color toolbox and finished products to validate stable solutions
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of Color Science in Food and Beverage applications, specifically with Colors Exempt from Certification (commonly known as Natural Colors)
Common knowledge of raw materials and ingredients used in their creation
General understanding of formulation trouble-shooting and stability protocol for color and finished products
Prior experience with Color Development is required
Strong presentation skills
Ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers
BS/MS (Science) with 5+ yrs' color science experience
PhD with 3+ yrs' color science experience outside of academia
Preferred
Applications across Food and Beverage (Pet Food a plus)
Commercialization from Bench-Top to Production-Scale

Salaried Incentive Plan: The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
