Responsibilities

Design, execute, and interpret complex bioinformatics analyses across diverse biological datasets
Support the evaluation and development of AI models used within drug discovery and translational research workflows
Collaborate closely with computational scientists, ML engineers, and domain experts to develop scientifically rigorous evaluation frameworks
Analyse multi-omics, screening, pharmacology, and experimental datasets to generate actionable biological insights
Build reproducible analytical pipelines and workflows using modern computational tools and best practices
Translate complex biological questions into structured computational analyses
Contribute to scientific recommendations that influence programme strategy and therapeutic decision-making
Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required

MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Systems Biology, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline
2-8 years of industry experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or AI-enabled life sciences environments
Strong understanding of 'Discovery' phase within drug discovery and development processes
Hands-on experience analysing biological datasets and generating insights that have informed programme-level decisions
Strong coding ability in Python and/or R
Experience working with Jupyter Notebooks and reproducible research environments
Ability to operate independently whilst collaborating within highly cross-functional teams

Preferred

Multi-omics analysis (Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Single Cell)
Small Molecule, Biologics, mRNA, Oligonucleotide, Cell & Gene Therapy, or related therapeutic modalities
Machine Learning or AI-enabled research environments
Cloud-based computational infrastructure
Scientific publication record and/or industry project leadership experience
