Responsibilities
Collaborating with team members, product owners and other stakeholders to build world class medical coding software
Implementing business requirements to enhance a cloud hosted medical coding data pipeline
Working with data scientists to prepare and test machine learning models for medical code prediction and assess medical chart readiness
Working with stakeholders to debug, develop and improve the data pipeline
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher AND Three (3) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java programming language
High School Diploma/GED from AND Five (5) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java and/or Python programming languages
1 year of experience developing cloud-hosted applications, preferably in AWS
1 year of software development experience using the Python programming language
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science or related from an accredited institution
Experience with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc
Experience with data science development using tools such as Pandas, MLFlow or PyTorch
