Responsibilities
Finding buyers — build and qualify buyer and acquirer target lists for portfolio companies, and support sell-side processes from teaser to close
Finding acquisition targets — source, screen, and profile buy-side targets and tuck-ins that strengthen the portfolio
Strategic partnerships — identify, structure, and help negotiate partnerships, channel deals, and joint ventures
Finding investors — map the right investors for each company and build outreach pipelines that earn meetings
Fundraising — support live raises end-to-end: investor materials, financial models, data rooms, and outreach
Investor relations — help manage investor updates, reporting, and the relationship after the round
Valuation — build valuations across methods (Berkus, Scorecard, VC/exit-backward, comparables, DCF, precedent transactions) and stand behind the number
Financial modeling — build operating models, projections, scenario and sensitivity analysis, cap tables, and dilution and returns math
Data-room work — stand up and run virtual data rooms, manage diligence Q&A, and keep the process moving
Data analysis — work through usage, cohorts, retention, and unit economics to build the case behind the numbers
Product solutions — work hands-on with the products themselves: learning how they're built, contributing to how they evolve, and turning real product capability into a credible commercial and investment narrative
Qualification
Required
Strong financial and analytical fundamentals — you can reason about valuation, returns, and unit economics from first principles
Comfortable building financial models from a blank sheet (Excel/Google Sheets): projections, scenarios, cap tables
A solid grasp of valuation methods and the ability to explain and defend a number, with a willingness to learn the rest on the job
Working understanding of how M&A and fundraising actually run (NDA → teaser → diligence → term sheet → close; SAFEs and priced rounds, dilution)
Comfort with data analysis (cohorts, retention, unit economics); SQL or Python a plus
Clear written and verbal communication — you can turn analysis into a narrative founders, buyers, and investors trust
High ownership — you can take a problem from ambiguity to a reliable, carefully checked deliverable
Careful attention to detail and sound judgment when handling confidential financials and live deal information
Preferred
Bonus: prior exposure to investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, FP&A, or a self-built valuation or modeling project
Benefits

Structured mentorship and direct guidance from experienced dealmakers and operators
Hands-on work on live valuations, models, data rooms, and outreach, with clear standards and measurable outcomes
Playbooks, templates, and internal guides — valuation methods, deal structures, diligence checklists — to help you build well from day one

Collaboration with a thoughtful network of builders, founders, and operators across the organization
