Responsibilities

Critical team member in organizations that handle all aspects of pricing for Caterpillar Machines, Energy & Transportation (Engines), and Parts & Services
Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, accounting, and supply chain teams to drive value-based pricing strategies
Work with cross-functional teams to advance Caterpillar’s digital pricing capabilities
Provide guidance for the execution of dynamic and differentiated pricing strategies
Analysis, interpretation, and communication of a wide variety of data
Execute strategic and tactical price action within a robust pricing governance framework

Required

Must be currently pursuing a degree at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or another business-related field, at the time of application and throughout the program
Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (both Major GPA & Cumulative GPA)
12 completed semester hours prior to the start of the internship
If a transfer student must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4-year university

Preferred

Previous internship and/or relevant work experience
Strong analytical, initiative, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Leadership involvement in student associations
Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
