Project Civil Engineer
SWCA Environmental Consultants is an employee-owned environmental services firm providing engineering and environmental solutions across the United States. The Project Civil Engineer will lead civil site design and engineering projects involving erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling while managing project delivery, mentoring junior staff, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and supporting client and business development activities.

Responsibilities
Lead engineering design and development of construction drawings
Oversee CAD design efforts and help to mentor other junior engineer staff on CAD design standards and methods
Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure successful project delivery
Support engineering needs across regional SWCA offices, providing technical expertise and guidance
Coordinate with engineering teams to balance workloads and ensure project schedules and budgets are met
Conduct technical reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
Assist with Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
Take responsibility for team safety, developing safety plans (when applicable), and anticipating potential safety hazards
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project management
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client relationships, networking, and collaboration with other SWCA offices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering or related engineering field
At least four (4) years of experience in civil engineering for the Associate Project Civil Engineer (PII) and at least (5) years of experience for a Project Civil Engineer (PIII)
Professional Engineer License in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain via reciprocity
Preferred
Seven (7) or more years of experience in civil/stormwater design
Additional PE License in surrounding states
Experience supporting proposal development, business development, and client management
