Responsibilities
Develop field placement drawings based on system requirements and project specifications
Estimate field wiring and controls components
Review client RFPs to understand controls and electrical requirements
Develop RFPs for subcontractors and help define clear scopes of work
Partner with various internal teams to support solution development and pricing
Evaluate supplier bids and provide recommendations to estimating and leadership teams
Review supplier contract deliverables to confirm alignment with project scope and requirements
Maintain and enhance controls pricing tools
Stay current on new technologies and solutions that improve system design and performance
Conduct site visits and supplier visits as needed to support project development and execution
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working with controls systems in parcel and/or distribution and fulfillment material handling environments
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
Ability to solve complex problems and translate technical requirements into practical solutions
Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities while staying organized and detail oriented
Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with cross functional teams
Curious, motivated to keep learning, and interested in expanding technical expertise
Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
Willingness to travel up to 15% a year
