Entry LevelArtefacts is building software tools for robotics developers to enhance their workflows. The Robotics / AI Engineer will focus on developing robotic applications that enable advanced tasks in complex environments, utilizing both real and simulated hardware.

Responsibilities
Creating robotic applications letting robots perform advanced tasks in complex environments
Navigation, manipulation environment understanding and autonomy
Develop application code for hardware development platforms (mobile robots, robotic arms, sensors)
Develop applications on simulated robots for which the hardware is not yet available
Use artefacts platform to support and accelerate development
Contribute to shaping the platform
Qualification
Required
Enthusiasm and interest toward robotics and AI
Experience with Deep Learning Libraries: TensorFlow, Pytorch, JAX
Experience with Robotics framework: ROS, ROS 2, yarp
Experience with Computer vision: OpenCV
Experience with Embedded programming
Experience with a programming language, e.g. Python, Rust, Go, C, Julia
Experience with Distributed version control, basically Git
Experience with Container technology, e.g. Docker
Experience adapting research to real use cases
Experience with Simulation technology: Gazebo, Isaac Sim
Experience with hardware: electronics, CAD, 3D printing
Preferred
Experience with 'real world' robot applications
A real passion for Robotics Software
Graduate degree in related disciplines
Degree is not necessary to apply, but if a work-visa is required, can make the visa-application process difficult without extensive, related work experience
