Responsibilities

Design and analysis using complex finite element methods
Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams across time zones

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
Minimum of 8 years of experience performing structural analysis on engines
Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elastic-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, & crack growth analyses
Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software & classical hand calculation methods
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

Preferred

Minimum of 10 years of experience performing structural analysis on gas turbine engines
Practical knowledge of ANSYS finite element analysis software
Industrial Ability to lead, motivate, develop and mentor others
Significant experience with new product development in a highly regulated environment
Ability to analyze and solve complex and challenging problems
Effectively operate in a matrix organization
Track record of successful contribution to products and projects
Keen mindset to envision process improvements and execution of such initiatives
Excellent written and oral communication skills
