Carlisle Controls Integration is seeking multiple PLC Automation Engineers to support the deployment, commissioning, and go-live phases of large-scale warehouse automation systems. This role focuses on execution within the field environment, specifically addressing software modifications and final system acceptance testing (SAT).

Responsibilities

Lead and assist in the physical commissioning of complex automated material handling systems. Deliver site support and execute formal system acceptance testing (SAT)
Write, modify, and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) code and develop human-machine interface (HMI) applications
Integrate discrete subsystems and ensure consistent industrial network communications across the platform
Isolate, diagnose, and rectify controls input/output (I/O) faults using PLC/HMI software diagnostics and standard electrical testing tools
Review electrical schematics, provide precise as-built engineering drawings, and maintain high-quality technical documentation

Required

1–4 years of industrial controls engineering or field commissioning experience
Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC programming (Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000)
Experience designing or modifying applications within FactoryTalk View or Ignition
Solid understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), induction motors, and 480VAC motor control panel layouts
Familiarity with network topologies including EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and Profinet
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant field experience
Ability to accommodate a 10 days on / 4 days off travel schedule, including extended daily shift hours during critical commissioning windows
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Preferred

Prior experience with a material handling integrator (Vanderlande, Dematic, Honeywell Intelligrated, Bastian Solutions, Daifuku, Swisslog)
Military electronics, electrical, or avionics background

Benefits

$68/day per diem
2 paid travel days per 14 day rotation
100% covered travel
Travel time is compensated as part of scheduled field rotation hours in accordance with applicable labor laws and company policy
Overtime Eligibility: Non-exempt position. Standard FLSA overtime regulations apply (1.5x base rate for hours exceeding 40 in a designated workweek)
Per Diem: $68.00/day (site days), provided in accordance with company travel policy and assignment location
Travel Expenses: 100% of flights, lodging, and rental vehicles are fully covered via corporate expense structures and reimbursed or settled weekly
