Responsibilities
Define and execute Octavia’s fundraising strategy
Strengthen the pitch deck, investment memorandum, financial model, valuation narrative, and data room
Refine the go-to-market strategy and align it with the fundraising case
Identify and prioritize relevant venture capital firms, strategic investors, and family offices
Lead and support investor outreach, introductions, follow-ups, and pipeline management
Prepare the founders for investor meetings, due diligence, and negotiation
Support valuation discussions, term-sheet review, deal structuring, and closing
Coordinate with legal, financial, and other advisers throughout the process
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience supporting startup or growth-company fundraising
Strong understanding of Seed, Series A, and institutional venture capital processes
Experience working with AI, deep-tech, SaaS, enterprise software, media technology, or developer platforms
Experience preparing pitch decks, investment memoranda, financial models, investor narratives, and data rooms
Ability to identify, prioritize, and engage relevant institutional investors
Experience preparing founders for investor meetings and due diligence
Strong understanding of valuation, term sheets, investment structures, and negotiation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, organization, and accountability
Preferred
Direct involvement in successfully completed institutional fundraising rounds
Established relationships with venture capital firms, strategic investors, and family offices
Previous experience as a venture capital investor, investment banker, founder, investor-relations lead, fundraising adviser, or fractional CFO
Experience developing go-to-market strategies alongside fundraising plans
Experience supporting cross-border fundraising across the United States and Europe
