Human Resources Busines Partner

Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to develop and execute employee retention strategies
Analyze engagement, turnover, and exit interview data to identify improvement opportunities
Conduct stay interviews and recommend actions to improve employee retention
Advise leaders on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations best practices
Partner on investigations, performance management, and corrective actions
Ensure HR practices remain compliant with company policies and employment regulations
Support organizational design and workforce planning initiatives
Assist leaders with headcount planning and role development
Provide HR guidance during reorganizations and organizational growth
Facilitate succession planning for key leadership and critical roles
Identify high-potential employees and support leadership development plans
Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and conflict resolution
Partner with cross-functional HR teams to implement company-wide programs
Build trusted relationships with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including time as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist supporting an operations or field-based workforce
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Solid working knowledge of employment law (e.g., FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and applicable state regulations) with the ability to translate it into clear, practical guidance for non-HR leaders
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with leaders while maintaining firm boundaries on policy and compliance
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling, multi-business-unit environment with a degree of ambiguity
Data-driven mindset with the ability to track, analyze, and act on KPIs
Able to work independently in a remote environment
Willing to travel up to 25% to sites or industry events as needed
Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment/random drug tests
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Experience in union environments
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certifications
Experience in field services, construction, logistics, home services, or another hourly/operations-heavy industry strongly
Prior experience supporting a fast-growing company
