Responsibilities

Help build Wiley’s AI platform for life-sciences research and development
Partner with product, design, engineering, and data science to move features and improvements from idea to launch
Contribute to product discovery with researchers and R&D users
Help shape requirements and priorities
Track how your work performs once it ships
Collaborate closely with senior product managers and the wider team across several workstreams
Bring the perspective of the life-sciences user to everyday product decisions

Required

Product management experience (typically 5+ years) on B2B / enterprise software — ideally data, analytics, AI/ML, or platform products — contributing to products from discovery through launch
Experience working in, or closely alongside, research and development in pharmaceutical or life-sciences organizations, with a good understanding of how scientists and research teams work
Ability to turn customer and market insight into clear requirements and measurable outcomes
Comfort with technical concepts — data, APIs, and AI/LLM-driven workflows — and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science
Sound prioritization and judgment in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, drawing on both qualitative and quantitative evidence
Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal product, design, engineering, and commercial teams as well as external integration partners
Experience contributing to a product or product line that scaled to $50M+ in revenue, from build through launch

Preferred

An advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a life-sciences field
Familiarity with scientific informatics tooling (ELN/LIMS, Benchling-class tools), knowledge graphs, or systematic-review and evidence-synthesis workflows
