Responsibilities
Production LLM applications and multi-agent systems serving real external users at scale
RAG pipelines and retrieval systems against large, messy, real-world data
Agent orchestration using modern frameworks, with tool use, memory, and reliability engineering
Evaluation harnesses (regression suites, LLM-as-judge, golden sets) that keep quality measurable as the system evolves
The reference architecture and engineering standards for a growing applied-AI team
Qualification
Required
You have shipped at least one production LLM or agent system that real external users depend on at meaningful scale. Not a prototype, not an internal demo, not a proof of concept
Strong production Python. You write the code, not just the architecture diagrams
Direct experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, and at least one agent framework in production
You have built evaluation infrastructure yourself, not only set eval 'practices' for others
You use AI coding agents daily as part of your real workflow
You can operate as a founding IC: high ownership, high autonomy, comfortable with ambiguity and speed
Preferred
Fintech, crypto, or other high-stakes / regulated production environments
Experience being the first or one of the first AI engineers on a team or product
