Responsibilities

Perform testing of generator-related panels and circuits at site
Conduct interface checks between panels
Commission generators and associated systems
Execute site tests before and after GT (Gas Turbine) start-up
Power receiving
Panel testing within scope
Loop checks with external panels
Interlock and phase relation tests
No-load and on-load tests (50%, 75%, 100%)
Load rejection tests
Performance tests
Special tests required by grid operators (e.g., NERC compliance)

Required

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 2–5 years of experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems for thermal power plants
Hands-on experience with generator control systems, excitation systems, and protection relays
Strong understanding of generator main circuit, synchronization, and interlock logic
Experience in site testing procedures, including: Power receiving and energization, Loop checks and interface verification, Interlock and phase relation tests, Load rejection and performance tests
Familiarity with grid compliance standards (e.g., NERC, IEEE)
English communication skills for technical discussions and reporting
Ability to work in multicultural teams and adapt to overseas site conditions
Problem-solving and troubleshooting under time constraints
Valid driver's license and passport

Preferred

Commissioning of combined cycle power plants
Knowledge of Static Frequency Converter (SFC) operation and troubleshooting
Experience with SCADA/DCS systems integration
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and logic drawings
Previous overseas commissioning experience
