Intern - Commercial Optimization & Scheduling
Energy Transfer owns and operates a diversified portfolio of energy assets, including pipelines, terminals, and acquisition and marketing assets. The Commercial Department is seeking an Intern to support commercial optimization and scheduling activities, including pricing analysis, gas flow coordination, pipeline updates, nominations, maintenance communication, contract coordination, and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities
Maintain historical pricing and forward curves spreadsheets for customers and internally
Learn the basic principals involved in Gathering & Processing rich gas volumes
Work closely with Gas Control and Field representatives to ensure accurate flows
Update maps and category systems for all major pipelines
Assist scheduling with daily nominations and confirmations
Monitor Maintenance Calendar and communicate upcoming impact both internally and externally
Assist with updating contacts and help establish relationships with third parties
True up data across several workbooks
Help scheduling by coordinating new contracts or meter point additions with contracts team
Provide analytical data from a multitude of system application
Qualification
Required
You must be enrolled in college during the program
Must possess a strong willingness to learn
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
Preferred
Currently enrolled in college majoring in Energy Commerce or a Business related program
Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred
