Responsibilities

Evaluate assigned new and renewal accounts for surveys and services needed to achieve underwriting objectives.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of fire protection, property construction types, business interruption, and relevant codes.

Perform on-site client work to validate exposures or recommendations.

Communicate recommendations effectively and influence clients to mitigate risks.

Conduct technical reviews of Engineering Reports.

Conduct desktop account reviews for underwriting.

Required

Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or another related field. Possessing relevant professional designations or certifications such as, Professional Engineer (PE), CFPS or ARM is highly desirable.

At least 7 years of insurance risk control experience.

Experience with fire protection.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);

Ability to plan strategically and prioritize workload to meet production and management objectives
