Responsibilities
Develop New Business: Identify and engage with potential clients, introducing them to GHY and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing customs brokerage services.
Build Strong Relationships: Establish connections and develop relationships with prospects by understanding their needs, recommending tailored solutions and becoming a trusted advisor in their operations by recommending new profit opportunities and service improvements.
Leverage Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, market activities, and competitors, identifying opportunities for innovative service offerings.
Represent GHY: Champion the GHY brand, highlighting our Company values and reputation to potential clients and industry stakeholders. Attend educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Required
A minimum of 8 years of experience in Customs Brokerage and Freight.
Strong understanding of US Customs brokerage and freight supply chain process.
Strong network to leverage opportunities and partnerships.
Strong entrepreneurial skills and ability to independently identify, pursue and secure new opportunities.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Highly self-motivated with a proactive, goal-oriented approach.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Preferred
A post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Trade is preferred.
Industry-specific certifications like Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) are considered assets.
