Responsibilities
Acts as lead with direct interface for much of the correspondence between Asymchem and Clients, as well as supporting Asymchem’s BD and technical teams.
Independently retains and nurtures client relationships, to bring in additional opportunities. Provides guidance to less experienced Account Managers.
Generates RFP’s internally for quotation
Writes proposals against Client issued RFP’s.
Interacts effectively with the Project Coordination Office (PCO) in China and other relevant groups to drive effective performance of projects.
Adheres to project timelines, flag and bring to appropriate attention to BD or technical groups any issues proactively.
Attends scheduled client or internal meetings to report/follow-up action items to Client and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and on-budget.
Issues instructions for requests, including samples, batch records, etc., keeping to Scope of work and budget.
Completes RFI and RFP’s for submission to Clients

Required
BS. Chemistry with > 7 years’ experience in the clinical development and manufacturing space.
Experience in a synthetic organic chemistry bench lab, kilo lab, and/or pilot plant
Strong knowledge and experience in cGMP controls in drug substance and/or drug product.
Knowledge of analytical controls in drug development
Knowledge of ICH Q7 and M7 regulations
Ability to take charge of direct client communication and corresponding internal sales
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Good social skills required to efficiently work across different core groups
Some travel (domestic and international) as needed to support on-site client meeting
Preferred
Working knowledge of Sale Force
Chinese Mandarin language ability is a plus, but not required
