Responsibilities

Report to the National Account manager, utilizing market data to establish a focused plan to develop your market.
Establish long term relationships with our key Engineers and Architects; identifying new project opportunities in the territory.
Serve as a consultant or member of the design team to all ATS clients in providing division specific specifications and product advice.
Present and promote our company’s services to industry professionals including mechanical designers, architects and interior designers.
Host seminars and one-on-one meetings at these design offices to introduce, train or update on our company’s free tools and services.
Liaise with manufacturer’s factory representatives to generate plumbing and architectural specification packages.
Build and maintain rapport with key clients; identifying new opportunities.
Work with multi-faceted teams to provide the most up to date product information to industry professionals.
Use Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) for reporting, maintaining and expanding customer base.
Detail activities, progress, market information, new ideas, expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested.

Required

A college degree and/or experience in related field.
A good understanding of construction industry practices, products and standards, with a focus on plumbing and/or HVAC products.
The ability to interpret construction documents and specifications with knowledge of local Building Codes and Americans with Disabilities Act is considered an asset.
An outgoing personality with exceptional communication skills, both written, verbal, online and in-person presentation skills.
An outstanding work ethic and organization.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position within construction or building materials is considered an asset.
Flair for polished presentations; Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft & Google products.
Experience utilizing HubSpot Sales and Marketing tools is considered an Asset.
Formal sales training is considered an asset.
The availability to travel and/or be located within the territory or region is required
