Responsibilities

Proactive Outreach: Identify and engage small to medium-sized businesses through proactive calls and outreach to uncover rental, leasing, and equipment financing opportunities.
Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and regulations to provide clients with tailored solutions and insights.
Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, equipment vendors, truck dealers, and other key partners.
Client Solutions: Partner with internal teams to create customized financing and leasing packages that meet client needs.
Sales Operations: Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Networking: Represent AP Equipment Financing at industry trade shows and events to generate leads and strengthen market presence.

Required

A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the fleet, vehicle leasing, or equipment financing industries.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach to sales.
Proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
