Responsibilities

Generating new leads to grow the account and managing existing customer portfolio.
Driving customers to consider earlier replacement cycle and upselling new products.
Identifying customer training needs and facilitating problem resolution.
Collaborating with Business Development Specialist on territory plans.
Being the main point of contact for customer queries and support.
Demonstrating CRM excellence by ensuring clear communication internally.
Contributing to and generating an annual business plan for review.
Maintaining an account pipeline and forecast plan.
Working cross-portfolio with other Account Managers and the MMS Commercial team.
Networking with leaders in the UK healthcare system to create advocates.
Maintaining territory planning and organizational skills.
Working towards sales targets under pressure with a customer-oriented approach.

Required

Account management knowledge and experience
Ideally proven experience in healthcare/medical devices, selling high value capital equipment
Ideally a business related or scientific/medical area degree
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong commercial acumen, understanding of the political and clinical environment influencing the commercial success in this area
Experience of sales processes, including territory and funnel management
Understanding of MS office suite and ideally familiar with Salesforce or other similar sales management platforms
Able to generate sales leads, research and manage customer expectations and complaints
Territory planning and organisational skills
Excellent analytical and decision making skills
Able to work under pressure and towards deadlines
Customer orientated and ability to problem solve with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Candidate must be based on Territory (South East)
