Responsibilities

Share retailer insight, trends, and directions with the marketing team for product development and merchandising collaboration.
Ensure all customer portals and websites are up to date and current.
Conduct in-person headquarter calls with assigned retailers to build relationships and understand their corporate culture.
Attend Divisional and Corporate meeting events throughout the year.
Manage sales, forecasting, planning, and budget aspects of the assigned territory and specific customers.
Collaborate with various departments to meet customer needs and manage sales.
Implement promotional/marketing plans to maximize sales.
Work on label requests and other commercial requirements based on account guidelines.
Monitor OTC Store Brand account/product sales to prevent short-dated inventory.
Analyze marketplace and competition to develop and execute sales plans for OTC/Store Brand products.
Lead customer surveys, new product forms, and compliance activities.
Participate in conventions, trade shows, and contract development.
Track and monitor receivable balances of customer accounts.
Lead sales meetings with customers to discuss products and supply chain updates.

Required

Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 4+ years OTC and/or other consumer packaged goods sales experience with retailers
Minimum of 2+ years calling on customers for private label CPG products
Working knowledge of consumer product distribution channels and all classes of trade (mass merchandisers, drug chains, food stores, wholesalers and distributors) required
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to take direction, multi-task, and work independently and in concert with Commercial Project Management, Commercial Analytics, and other sales support functions (customer service, supply chain, etc.)
Forecasting capability and strong computer skills (intermediate level of PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Ability to travel as required
A demonstrated knowledge of syndicated data and how to use in building compelling stories with the trade
Intermediate to advanced computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to influence decision makers
Integrity and accountability
Team oriented
Appreciate the importance of process and corporate policy
