Responsibilities

Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects

Initiate renewal process for existing clients, and discuss and create renewal strategy with the Producer

Analyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing

Conducts marketing, negotiate rates, review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy

Reviews and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals

Finalize proposals and presentations in coordination with the Producer

Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegate certificate issuance

Review policies for accuracy and transmittal

Required

1-3 years’ experience of Professional Liability / Commercial Lines client management experience

Valid P&C license

Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reporting

Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative information

Preferred

College degree preferred

Industry specific designations preferred - CISR, ARM or similar

Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred
