Responsibilities

Grow TELUS distribution by acquiring new retailer partners to sell prepaid services through cold-calling or referrals
Educate channel partners on TELUS' value proposition to ensure top-of-mind awareness
Provide reliable sales support to partners through exceptional responsiveness and leveraging relationships
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to maximize return and achieve sales targets
Ensure TELUS brand representation and meet merchandising standards
Gather and report competitive information
Liaise between TELUS internal groups through effective communication and training of partners
Recommend, develop, and implement improved sales initiatives
Influence behavior change through coaching and training
Conduct presentations and trainings to small and large groups
Work with minimal supervision in a flexible and mobile work style

Required

Completed university degree or college diploma
Minimum 2 years of territory management experience, preferably in wireless and/or 2 years' sales management experience in wireless (retail or dealer channel)
Possess a valid driver's license together with a reliable vehicle
Strong prospecting and closing skills in a sales environment
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven self-starter with the ability to find, develop and close leads
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and objectives
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive customer relationships as well as work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to influence and affect behavior change with individuals through effective coaching and training facilitation
Ability to do presentations and trainings to small and large groups
Work with minimal supervision through a flexible and mobile work style: Working from a home-based office, Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required
Knowledgeable about the Canadian wireless and home solutions market is an asset
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office and Google suite
