Responsibilities
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Understand prospective clients’ unique shipping requirements, manage a consistent sales pipeline through cold calls and communication.
CUSTOMER GROWTH: Design and execute a unique customer strategy for each account, provide growth opportunities while ensuring no freight give-backs.
RELATIONSHIPS: Act as a consultative resource to customers, provide quotes considering all factors, develop strategies and solutions for client challenges.
FREIGHT OPERATIONS: Maintain operational efficiencies for customer’s freight, work with Carrier Sales, call carriers for options, and track shipments.
RESULTS: Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, meet customer service levels and KPIs.
COMMUNICATION: Proactively communicate with customers, fulfill commitments, exceed service expectations, and resolve customer problems.

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of sales experience required
