Responsibilities
Acts as a central point of contact for the Account Officer team, and facilitates team meetings and trainings.
Ultimately will need to build proficiencies within both processing of new business as well as in management of the renewal process
Formulates and implements a plan for strengthening the teams expertise as it relates to systems, process, workflow or general communication and personal skills
Responds swiftly and appropriately to questions and concerns from their respective Account Officer team members, other department heads, and management.
Communicates any identified concerns or challenges identified by the team, and brings constructive ideas to management on how to improve or fix the problem.
Provides team members with ongoing coaching, training and support
Assists the Sr VP, Head of US Account Management with various operational projects and assignments
Manages productivity and creates efficiencies around processing new business applications in coordination with the sales team.
Works in coordinate with the Head of the Account Executive team to coordinate support for the Account Executive team as it relates to management of the renewal book.
Tracks and reports status of pending new business opportunities and coordinates with the back office team as it relates to management of the booking process.
Rolls out, executes and reports on any initiatives driven through the Account Officer team, including those related to turnover declarations, aging report clean up, or riders.
Onboard and trains new hires on systems and processes, and coordinate integration of new hires within the team.
Assesses weaknesses within the Account Offer team and builds an improvement plan when needed to increase the expertise and proficiencies of the team as a whole, or for any individual.

Required
Bachelor’s degree required.
5-10+ years of administrative experience in a credit insurance, banking, claims, or factoring organization would be beneficial.
Management experience a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel.
Preferred
P&C Insurance license a plus.
