Responsibilities
Lead various aspects of operational accounting, from payables to transactional escalations
Post and process transactions and journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Record accounts payable invoices to ensure timely payment to vendors
Assist in the processing of the Company’s financial statements and other management reports
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
Support cross-team functions with daily accounting needs related to customer transactions
Work with the Controller to establish an appropriate control environment
Maintain and influence Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and effectiveness
Collaborate with other functional teams to enhance company-wide knowledge base
Understand and follow all work rules and procedures and following lawful directions from supervisors
Uphold the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
2+ years of financial accounting experience
Ability to work accurately and regularly meet deadlines
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Great attention to detail
Proficient in Excel
Effective communication skills via any means with individuals of any level internally and externally
Team player and listener
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to efficiently work from a home office environment
Preferred
QuickBooks online experience preferred, not required
