Responsibilities
Support monthly financial close including assigned balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, journal entries and accruals.
Prepare month end reconciliations which may include but not limited to various bank accounts, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and/or other asset and liability accounts.
Post journal entries as required for asset, liability and income statement accounts.
Assist in providing financial reporting and schedules as requested by management and operations.
Monthly P&L reporting, budget variance analysis and commentary.
Complete various tax filings including sales and use, personal property, excise and gross receipts.
Assist in resolution of tax notices and research as needed.
Provide accounting support for ongoing projects in conjunction with GAAP Compliance.
Commission calculation and preparation.
Evaluate, create and implement processes and controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SBRA policies.
Maintain and update chart of accounts and general ledger structure.
Support quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditors.
Perform other ad hoc accounting projects as needed, and ad hoc financial analysis as requested.

Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, emphasis in accounting highly preferred.
3+ years of public and private accounting work experience.
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Willingness to take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
Strong written and oral communication, team player, detail oriented and sound organizational skills.
Ability to work independently to identify problems early and explore possible solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, SharePoint applications, Concur.
Preferred
CPA certification a plus.
Big 4 experience is a plus but, not required.
Operational accounting experience in a growing SAAS technology business.
Experience with SAP by Design and Zuora.
