Responsibilities
Accountant for multiple small and medium-sized companies:
Performs most accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable / order entry, cash management, payroll, month-end & year-end close process. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
Communicate effectively with clients and Controllers on a daily basis
Bring strategic insights to our clients
Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily accounting, provide valuable insights, and maintain outstanding client satisfaction.
Troubleshoot accounting and technology/software issues

Required
4 year Accounting degree
3-5 years of previous experience desired
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and willingness to get your hands dirty
Extremely organized
Independent work ethic and able to solve problems on your own
Problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset
Self-starter – always looking for ways to improve processes and add value to clients
Preferred
Family Office or Investment Accounting experience a plus
CPA firm experience highly preferred
Experience w/Sage Intacct a plus
