Responsibilities
Researching, analyzing, and reconciling various financial data and records from multiple accounting/data systems to FMMI
Finding solutions to complex general ledger and reporting issues between the general ledger and internal or external systems
Resolving issues related to the operations of an accounting or corporate financial management system, interfacing system or subsidiary system

Required
You must be a US Citizen or US National.
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
Successful completion of one-year probationary period, unless previously served.
Direct Deposit: Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
A signed Remote/Virtual Position Work Agreement is required for employment.

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education.
Degree: accounting: or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting.
At least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge.
Twenty-four semester hours in accounting or auditing courses of appropriate type and quality.
A certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination.
Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in accounting or auditing.
To qualify for the GS-11: Have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 level in Federal Service or equivalent responsibility in the private sector.
Experience includes researching, analyzing, and reconciling various financial data and records from multiple accounting/data systems to FMMI.
Education Can Be Substituted for Specialized Experience at the GS-11 Grade Level.
Education must be reviewed and certified by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
