Responsibilities

Prepare state payroll tax filings in coordination with our PEO

Generate and issue Form 1099s for vendors

Process and enter bills, prepare payments, reconcile accounts payable, and investigate and resolve any related issues

Assist in tracking and managing employee expense reports

Ensure accurate and timely recording of wire transfers, ACH payments, and checks

Update and maintain the company’s billing system (NetSuite) for new vendor accounts and changes to existing accounts, including product/service updates

Check and submit vendor invoices, maintain and apply customer payments in the portal, and review vendor activity to identify any missing invoices during month-end or period-end close

Assist with reconciliations, review of AP aging schedules and maintaining SOX controls on those respective areas

Required

Must have 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience including understanding the flow of vendor payments and journal entries and knowledge of processing payroll

Experience working with a General Ledger system required; NetSuite experience is preferred

Solid critical thinking and analysis and attention to detail

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Team player willing to learn new tasks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must

Excellent planning and organization skills, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly, and work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
