Responsibilities
• Invoice accuracy: Double checking invoices for accuracy.
• Invoice reconciliation: Verifying that month end open accounts receivable and payables balances to actual open invoices. Verifying that payments and credits have been applied correctly.
• Customer service: Helping with research regarding questions on overdue payments, answering billing questions, and addressing concerns.
• Data entry: Entering customer information, vendor information, payment details, and invoice data into the accounting system.
• Collections support: Assisting with collection efforts for past due accounts, working with the Accounts Receivable Specialist.
• Payment support: Assisting with bill reconciliation based on vendor past due balances, working with Accounts Payable Specialist.
• Customer account maintenance: Updating customer and vendor information such as addresses and contact details.
