Responsibilities
Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
Managing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Developing and implementing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and reconciling financial transactions.
Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
Coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Maintaining high-quality financial data, implementing procedures for verification and quality control.
Staying updated on accounting regulations and ensuring adherence to GAAP and other standards.

Required
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7-9 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in accounting software (proficiency in ERP accounting software--NetSuite strongly preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to present clear financial reports.
In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations; experience with utilities or government agencies is a plus.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
