Responsibilities
General bookkeeping
Journal entries
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
General collections
Month end close
Commission Management and administration
Indirect tax management (SALT, VAT, GST)
Customer communication (Limited)
Vendor communication (Limited)
Business intelligence and analysis
Business information and analytics reporting
Accounting and finance document management and organization
Process documentation and improvement
General financial and accounting operations
Work with ElastiFlow’s external accountants as necessary
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of relevant or transferable experience in a similar role
Experience in a tech/SaaS or software company and associated accounting practices
Proficiency in GAAP standards and practices
Proficiency with accounting software
Strong Excel skills and experience
Experience managing Payroll / Commission
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience managing Indirect Taxes (SALT, VAT, GST, etc…)
Experience implementing 3rd party tools and software solutions
Experience with and knowledge of IFRS standards and practices
Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc…
