Responsibilities

Lead the CAPEX recording and reporting with our new software package.

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to intercompany transactions, fixed assets, general ledger, taxes, and treasury reporting

Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements

Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions

Assist with the development of staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships

Assist with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit

Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

Backfill other accounting roles duties/responsibilities when necessary

Handle the company's banking transactions and debts payments

Reconciling balance sheet accounts

Lead the month end close process

Prepare tax and other regulatory filings

Prepare and record journal entries

Perform customer credit reviews

Participate in managing banking relationships and bank account maintenance

Prepare daily liquidity report
