Responsibilities
Operational Support: Assist and support in task for clients related to operational needs. These will often be financially related, but can include payroll, taxes, compliance, human resources, and other areas of operations.
Client Bookkeeping: Complete tasks for clients, including but not limited to processing bill payments, reconciling accounts, organizing expense support documentation, and payroll processing.
Monthly Reporting: Assist with the preparation and input for monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy in financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and identify trends.
Special Project Support: Assist with administrative tasks as assigned to support special projects.

Preferred
5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with a bachelor's degree in accounting (or similar field).
Working understanding of GAAP.
Experience with QuickBooks Online.
Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to assist in any and all operational needs of a client.
Strong attention to detail and completeness.
A desire to support progressive organizations and their missions - including women's rights, LGBTQ rights, climate action, voter protection, immigration reform, equal access to healthcare, equal rights, and others.
