Responsibilities
Work directly with the accounting and finance teams to understand current systems, processes, and automation needs. This position will report directly to the CFO.
Lead the automation of manual systems and processes within the accounting and finance functions, reducing inefficiencies and improving accuracy.
Build and maintain integrations between financial systems (NetSuite, UKG, and Microsoft Suite of Products), ensuring seamless data flow and reducing manual entry.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize workflows that support business needs.
Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve overall financial operations.
Troubleshoot system issues, identify gaps, and implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
Provide technical guidance and support to the finance and accounting teams, ensuring system utilization is maximized.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continually innovate and improve processes.

Required
At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with NetSuite, including customization, automation, and integration.
7 years of accounting experience
Strong experience with UKG and the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.), including building reports and automating tasks.
Proven track record of automating accounting processes and bridging gaps between systems to streamline operations.
In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
Experience with SQL, fixed asset programs, contract management programs, or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Experience working in accounting or holding a CPA license.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Detail-oriented, yet capable of seeing the big picture to drive efficiencies and innovation.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can dive in and make an immediate impact.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
Experience with additional accounting systems or ERP platforms is a plus.
Certification in NetSuite or relevant financial automation tools.
