Responsibilities
Ensuring timely and proper payment of invoices and check requests while adhering to established Accounts Payable Policies and Procedures.
Maintaining current accounts payable records.
Accurately coding expenses to the General Ledger.
Performing daily data entry for assigned program payables.
Managing a pending Excel file documenting unprocessed invoices.
Conducting thorough research on vendor and program inquiries.
Reviewing invoices for mathematical accuracy and authorization.
Monitoring the Accounts Payable email inbox and providing necessary documentation for Accountants and Auditors.
Backing up the Accounts Payable team during absences.
Managing incoming mail at the corporate office.

Required
Associate degree, relevant years of experience, or a certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive approach to research and follow-up inquiries
Preferred
Experience with systems like PeopleSoft or Oracle
Detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment
