Responsibilities

Record payments to customers' accounts and promptly respond to accounts receivable inquiries.
Conduct research and analysis to resolve payment issues, effectively communicating with division personnel and customers.
Execute system transactions related to customer payments and remittances, including assistance with invoicing, statements, and bank processing.
Obtain appropriate approvals from division and corporate management for customer refunds and write-offs.
Maintain accurate transaction records for data uploads and general ledger entries, while also supporting data requests for audits.
Contact customers, sales representatives, and credit management to clarify payment details and resolve outstanding issues.
Ensure compliance with control processes, procedures, and policies.

Required

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or college coursework in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Minimum one year of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting field, or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel, with strong data entry skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Previous experience in a finance role at a Foodservice Distribution company preferred.
Available to work from 8:00am to 4:30pm AZ Time, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of extended hours during period close.

Preferred

Strong 10-key experience preferred; test scores may be requested.
Reliable internet connection required.
