Responsibilities
Assist with research, processing invoices, creating purchase orders, and preparing and reconciling resident deposit accounts.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.
Understand expense accounts, cost centers, and compliance issues around accounts payable processes.

Required
Have prior experience working with apartment bookkeeping, payables and balancing accounts
Ability to perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
Have experience verifying and investigating discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
Experience generating reports detailing accounts payables status
Have an understanding of expense accounts and cost centers
Knowledge of compliance issues around accounts payable processes
Preferred
Apartment management/accounting experience is a PLUS
Yardi experience preferred
