Responsibilities

Lead and manage an accounts payable team, setting clear goals and ensuring high performance.

Oversee weekly payment runs, including high volumes of checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AP operations.

Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely invoice processing, accurate reconciliations, and prompt responses to inquiries.

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and maintain internal controls and compliance standards.

Maximize discount utilization and negotiate favorable terms with key vendors.

Prepare and review month-end close activities, including accruals, account analyses, reconciliations, and audit schedules.

Oversee annual reporting, including 1099 preparation and schedules for financial audits.

Develop and maintain comprehensive AP procedures and policies to support operational excellence.
