Responsibilities
Process and post invoices accurately and efficiently using the accounting systems.
Review invoices for reasonable account coding and ensure that proper policy and procedure have been followed. Balance invoices keyed in system-to-system report to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries and provide appropriate follow-up and/or resolution.
Balance all vendor invoices to the weekly vendor statements.
Reconcile vendor statements.
Provide support for office and store level staff inquiries regarding accounts payable transactions. Provide appropriate communication and follow-up for inquiries and investigative concerns.
Prepare weekly reclass journal entry.
Assist with accounts payable month-end close ensuring that critical deadlines are met.
