Responsibilities
Review/approve electronic vendor invoices utilizing Chrome River software
Review/approve electronic expense reports for firm issued credit card & expense reimbursements in Chrome River software
Initiate various vendor payments by checks, ACH, & credit card in Aderant Expert
Initiate wire payments through various banks for domestic & international payment requests
Initiate book transfers between intercompany bank accounts with various banks
Assist with Accounts Payable helpdesk and provide support to internal employees as well as external vendors and clients
Set up new vendors in the financial system
Responsible for specific office locations and provide targeted customer support to these offices
Serve as a back-up with other A/P specialists as needed
Assist with ad hoc projects as necessary

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience
At least two (2) years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a law firm
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), with skills in Excel
Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, team environment with constantly changing priorities
Ability to effectively resolve issues in a timely manner using sound judgment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Extreme attention to detail, proofreading, and accuracy of work
Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external business partners
Ability to understand and keep abreast with the firm’s policies, procedures and business acumen
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
