Responsibilities

Manages and oversees all revenue cycle activities related to billing, collections, denial management and insurance follow-up.

Performs statistical data analysis and prepares trending reports of key A/R performance metrics.

Develops strategic plans for the A/R team and ensures that goals and objectives are properly defined and clearly established.

Monitors, tracks and evaluates staff productivity and performance.

Promotes best practices in automation and workflow management used for claims submission and collection activities.

Utilizes information technology to improve recoveries and reduce accounts receivables.

Assists with the development of front end edits based on denial trends.

Collaborates with key stakeholders within the revenue cycle to develop effective policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiencies.

Develops effective working relationships with insurance carriers, subcontractors, provider enrollment, managed care and the Office of Compliance.

Assist with the development of quality assurance protocols and manage results.

Attends and presents data at required meetings.

Troubleshoots problems and oversees special billing/collections concerns.

Performs other duties as required.
